Pole Cap
A pole cap is a protective covering created to seal the top of the utility pole.
Base Plate
Base plates serve as a foundation for the utility pole, providing a stable and secure base.
Hole Plugs
Hole plugs are used to seal holes drilled into the utility pole for various purposes. Hole plugs can maintain the pole's durability, longevity, and can keep pests out.
Name Plate
Each pole includes an engraved metal plate. Typical identifiers include manufacturer name (Avient GridCore™), manufacture date, S/N, class/height, weight, customer name, and customer S/N. Contact Avient for additional customizations.

Pole Steps – Standard
Standard steel steps, common for hollow steel poles, can be used for GridCore™ poles and can be similarly installed.
Pole Steps with Fall Arrest Loop
Fall arrest loops offer additional safety for linemen, catching them in case of a slip or fall.
These can be installed similarly to standard steel steps.
Drill Bits
For drilling into composite poles, Avient recommends Milwaukee® SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty™1 Lineman’s Fiberglass Drill Bits.

Lifting Straps
Nylon or fabric straps with an enhanced grip coating are recommended for safe pole lifting.
